Friend, the post itself is not the problem. The problem is no foundation. No strategy. The 5 SMM Core Strategies are the foundation. Without them, even your most polished Reel will miss the audience. You know WHO you are now and you know WHO you want to become. That is the beginning.

The wrong question vs the right question

Wrong question: "Which viral trend should I copy?"

Better question: "WHO am I, WHO is my client, WHO is my audience, WHY are we doing this, WHERE are they, WHAT do they need, HOW do I deliver?"

Most beginners do this audit AFTER 6 months of fumbling. That wastes time. Run the 5-strategy audit BEFORE applying to SMM clients. Save yourself 6 months of "post and pray."

The warning about "I'm just posting"

The "post-and-pray" trap

Without the 5 strategies in place, your SMM work becomes "post-and-pray." Often no engagement. No growth. No impact. Your client may disengage after 90 days. The 5 strategies are required infrastructure.

  1. Open Google Doc. Title: "SMM 5-Strategy Audit."
  2. Answer each of the 5 strategies in 2-3 sentences. On the client side, ask the client these questions explicitly.
  3. Identify gaps. If there is an "I don't know," that becomes the priority area for the next 30 days.

  5. Use SMM Handbook templates to flesh out each strategy.
