VA Resume Converter / Getting started

Your VA resume, step by step.

Chat with the BFF assistant, work through your resume, and keep the documents and progress in one place. You use Eduba in your browser.

I'm new. Start hereI'm returningOpen BFF workspace
Open for invited BFF members

Start in BFF VA Resume Converter. Use your invited email, send a general first message, name your workbench and check Private · just you. Read the notice and answer the one consent question. Your own personal details do not require a replacement resume. Your six documents and edits stay in your workbench; copy the current text into your own Google Doc.

Before you begin

Before you share information

This workspace uses Eduba, a third-party platform. Files and chats you submit are subject to Eduba's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and are processed using its AI providers. Read both before continuing.

Your resume may include your own personal details. The assistant asks for your explicit agreement once; if you agree, it continues. You do not have to clean the file first or upload a fictional replacement. Share only information you have permission to provide. Your name, phone, email and profile links are optional. The draft omits unnecessary personal attributes and your full home address. Avoid government or licence numbers, passwords, other people's private contacts and confidential employer records; these are excluded from working records and outputs. Eduba stores uploads before AI checking, so details omitted from your draft may remain in the original upload. You are the final reviewer of your draft. Check every claim before using it.

You do not need to read the AI instruction files. Use the chat for guidance and open outputs for your documents. Click Collapse sidebar to put the file tree out of the way; Show files brings it back when needed. This changes the view, not file access.

Have the BFF invitation email and use that same email address to sign in. The account is yours. Start with the welcome in step 3. Access is open for invited BFF members. Follow these steps in order. You review and approve your own exact draft before using it.

The numbered screens below are illustrations based on Eduba's observed controls. They are help pictures, not live app controls or captured member screenshots. Open Eduba in a separate tab as you follow along.

Sign in with your invited email

  1. Open Eduba sign-in.
  2. Click Continue with Eduba central auth.
  3. Follow the email verification or Google sign-in offered by Eduba. Use the exact email address BFF invited.
  4. If this is a new account, complete Eduba's own account prompts and read any terms before you agree.
See that it workedYour account is signed in. The account menu should show the email address you meant to use.
If the wrong account returns automaticallyUse a separate Chrome profile for the invited email. Check Account menu again before sharing information. If the email is still wrong, return to the Chrome profile for your invited email.
Click the central-auth button, then follow the sign-in prompts for your invited email. The next screen depends on your account.
2

Choose the BFF resume workspace

  1. Open Eduba Workspaces. If you land in the classic interface, choose Try the new Eduba.
  2. Open the top-right Account menu and choose Bonafide Filipino Freelancing Community under Active organization, if it is not already selected.
  3. Under WORKSPACES, choose the resume workspace BFF gave you. The clean community entry is named BFF VA Resume Converter.
  4. On your first visit, the converter opens a fresh chat with its template files. Send the first message in step 3; Eduba then offers to name your workbench. Keep one candidate's work there.
See that it workedThe resume workspace opens with a chat area and a file list. Your workbench name appears above the files.
Choose the converter tileAn older practice chat may say it has no workbench or agent. Return to Workspaces and choose BFF VA Resume Converter. If that tile is missing, tell BFF which email you signed in with.
1: check the BFF organization. 2: choose the converter tile. The screen is simplified; your invitation determines what appears.
3

Start the resume chat

  1. For a first conversation, use the message box. If a previous chat is open and you need a fresh conversation, click New chat at the top right.
  2. Copy the message below into Send a message..., then click the send arrow.
  3. If Name this workbench appears, enter a name you will recognize and click Save name. The agent is already working; the name helps you return later.
  4. Read the reply. Check that the chat says Private · just you before adding your resume in step 4. If it remains shared, stop and ask BFF to check the setup.
Your first message
Help me create my VA resume package. How do I get started?
See that it workedYour message and an assistant reply appear in the chat. The assistant shows the notice and asks one question for your explicit consent to process your resume, including personal details you choose to share, for your package. Check Private · just you before you share anything.

BFF configured Claude Haiku for this workspace. You work in this browser chat; this walkthrough does not require installing a terminal or entering an API key.

1: start another chat in the same workbench when needed. 2: enter the first message and use the send arrow. The Haiku selector is shown in the composer.
4

Give consent and add your resume

Read the notice above. Your own personal details can stay in your resume if you explicitly agree to share them.

  1. The assistant asks: Do you explicitly agree to Eduba and its AI providers processing your resume, including the personal details you choose to share, and your answers to create and improve your VA resume package?
  2. If you agree, reply Yes. If your file was already uploaded, that answer lets the assistant continue. You do not need to clean it or upload it again just because it contains your own personal details.
  3. To add a file, click Inputs above the chat. Under Workflow inputs, click Choose file and select your TXT, DOCX or PDF with selectable text. You can paste your resume instead.
  4. Wait until the selected filename appears. Tell the assistant it is uploaded. After consent it must read the actual text before drafting.
  5. Give your real daily responsibilities, role interests, work setup and available hours when asked. An unknown answer stays unknown. Never copy an example number.
See that it workedThe assistant saves your consent, confirms readable source text and saves your progress. It continues with professional facts and leaves unnecessary personal fields out of the working documents. Upload success alone does not prove the text was read.
No resume, or unreadable file?Say you have no file and provide professional facts, one question at a time. If you do not consent to processing the uploaded resume, say No and use this no-file route instead. TXT and DOCX are the simplest file choices. A scan needs text extraction first; if the assistant cannot read your PDF, paste readable text. Upload success alone is not text-reading success.
Use the file chooser beneath Workflow inputs. Its appearance depends on the browser. This illustration labels the location rather than inventing an upload button.

Find the six saved documents

  1. Let the assistant complete and save one part at a time. When it says a part is saved, type Continue. Answer one factual question if it needs information. Stay in the same workbench; do not restart or reupload your history. The complete package takes several turns.
  2. Open outputs in the left file list. If the list is hidden, click Show files.
  3. Click 01-resume.md to preview the working resume. Open the other files from the same list.
  4. Read the assistant's completion message and anything it says is still unresolved. A file being present is not approval to apply with it.
See that it workedAll six filenames below appear, each opens with content, and the assistant has explained the remaining questions.
Start with the resume and checklistThe draft's bracketed instructions identify missing facts. The checklist tells you how to answer them or remove the unsupported wording. Check every claim and approve the exact draft yourself.
1: expand outputs. 2: open the resume file. The example content is fictional; your questions and document content can differ.

Ask the AI to help finish the draft

  1. Stay in the same workbench. Send the message below.
  2. The assistant reads your saved work, then asks one checklist question.
  3. Answer from your own actual experience. Do not use the fictional example's facts.
  4. Ask it to save the confirmed change. Open the changed document and read the new wording. Correct it if the meaning is wrong.

See that it workedThe assistant asks the next unanswered question, saves confirmed changes, and the revised file shows them. It should not repeat information already clear in the files.
You can request an editFor example: “That sentence is inaccurate. Here is the correct fact: ... Please update the resume and save my progress.” The AI edits the stored Markdown. You review the wording and control what becomes a claim.
The reply shown is illustrative. Check the revised file after each answer. A new chat should continue at the next unanswered item.

Copy the text into your own Google Doc

  1. Click the current 01-resume.md file under outputs.
  2. In its preview, choose Source.
  3. Click Copy. Paste into a Google Doc you create yourself, or another document editor.
  4. Format the headings and bullets. The copied text is Markdown, so you may see symbols such as # or ** that you need to format or remove.
  5. If you later change the Eduba draft, copy its latest version again. Your Google Doc is a separate copy.
See that it workedYour document contains the same current wording you reviewed in Eduba.
Keep the draft status clearYou are the final reviewer. Finish or delete every action marker, check every factual claim, then approve the current draft. Make an application copy and remove the working-draft warning, package panel and removable guidance. Keep your working master. You approve your own exact draft.

The files appear inside your Eduba workbench. You do not wait for a package email or an automatically created Google Docs link. Copy each document separately from its Source view.

1: Source shows the Markdown text. 2: Copy copies that text. This does not create or update a Google Doc for you.

Come back and continue where you stopped

  1. Before leaving, send the save message below. Read the assistant's summary of your confirmed facts, open items and next question. You do not have to open its internal progress file.
  2. When you return, open Workspaces, then your chat under PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF.
  3. You can also open the same workspace tile and choose the same workbench. Use Chats to reopen a conversation.
  4. If you use New chat, stay in that same workbench and send the return message. The saved files carry the context into the new chat.

When you return
Continue where we stopped. Use my saved work, tell me what is still open, and ask only the next question. Do not restart.
See that it workedThe files and latest checkpoint are present. The assistant continues with the next open item instead of asking for all your details again.
1: reopen your saved conversation from the home screen. Stay in your existing workbench when you return; its saved files carry your progress.
After the resume, use the same chat for the next goalOpen the matched-jobs guide, paste a complete current job listing, or ask for interview practice. The coach should give APPLY NOW, CHECK FIRST or DO NOT APPLY YET based on supported evidence. You decide whether to apply and you send the application yourself.

What the AI does behind the chat

The workspace follows the converter's six stages. You provide facts and review the result; the files hold the saved work.

  1. 1. IntakeShow the notice, ask once for explicit consent, then read the actual resume and omit unnecessary personal fields from working documents.
  2. 2. ProfilePreserve roles, dates, tools and evidence from the source.
  3. 3. Target roleChoose one supported VA direction and keep other interests for later.
  4. 4. GapsSeparate demonstrated skills, close matches and missing proof.
  5. 5. Draft and reviewWrite, critique and revise an honest draft. You make the final truth check.
  6. 6. PackageSave six Markdown documents and check them. The candidate finishes the working resume.

If you get stuck

I cannot see the BFF workspace.

Check your signed-in email in Account menu and select Bonafide Filipino Freelancing Community. If it is still missing, ask BFF to check the invitation and workspace access for that email.

I cannot see the file list.

Click Show files, then open outputs for your documents. Ask the assistant for your saved progress. You do not have to read its internal records. If the documents are still absent, check that you reopened the same workbench.

The assistant is still marked “working”.

Check the latest files and reply before assuming it finished. Reopen the chat; if it remains stuck, use a new chat in the same workbench and ask it to continue from your saved work. If it cannot confirm saved work, ask BFF for help.

The file uploaded, but the assistant cannot read it.

TXT and DOCX are the simplest choices. A photo or scanned PDF needs text extraction first. If the assistant cannot read the file, paste readable text instead. It should ask for a readable source instead of inventing an empty-source draft. You can also say you have no file and answer from your real professional history, one question at a time.

My resume contains personal details. Must I edit it first?

No. Read the notice and answer the explicit consent question. A clear Yes lets the assistant continue with your own resume. It saves that answer for this workbench so you are not asked again on every visit. Unnecessary personal fields are left out of the working documents; the original upload may still contain them. If you prefer not to consent, say No and use the no-file professional-history route.

Do I need my own Claude subscription or API key?

BFF configured Haiku centrally for this workspace. This walkthrough uses the provided Eduba workspace. If you see a billing or key error, stop and report it to BFF; do not put a key in a chat. Future member allowances and pricing have not been announced here.

Why does a reply label still say Sonnet?

The pilot's reply labels did not match its serving model. BFF checked actual Claude Console requests and confirmed Haiku. Leave the provided model setting as BFF configured it.

Can other members see my resume?

The intended setup gives each member a separate private workbench. Before sharing information, check Private · just you. Leave Add people unchanged: adding someone shares the chat history. Bounded two-account tests denied cross-member chats and selected file links. This is not a guarantee about Eduba administrator access or provider retention; read Eduba's privacy terms.

An older chat requires a fictional or cleaned resume.

That chat uses older instructions. Use the current BFF VA Resume Converter link at the top of this guide. Your own personal resume details are accepted after explicit consent. Do not upload a real source to an old test workbench. Templates do not necessarily update existing files.

How do I put the resume in Google Docs?

Open the current resume under outputs, choose Source, click Copy, and paste into your own Google Doc. Format its headings and bullets. After an Eduba edit, copy the new text again. Your Google Doc does not sync back. PDF delivery is not part of this version.

Can I ask the AI to change a Google Doc I pasted into?

The assistant edits its saved Markdown files in Eduba. Your separate Google Doc does not sync back. Review the revised Eduba file and copy the current text again.

Can I start another task, such as building a portfolio website?

Follow the learning path for your resume and portfolio evidence. A separate automated website workflow has not been qualified in this pilot. BFF will provide the appropriate workspace and instructions when it is available.
